French painter, friend of Renoir, Degas, Manet, Monet and Pissarro..

Norbert Goeneutte was a French painter, engraver and lithographer. He was born in Paris on 23 July 1854 and died on 9 October 1894 in Auvers-sur-Oise at the age of 40.

 

His favorite subjects were often landscapes and scenes of Parisian streets which clearly demonstrate the influence of Impressionism.

 

His graphic work includes many prints appeared in contemporary journals and also served for illustrations in books.
